Çankaya Municipality has decided to give 71 year-old Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar’s name to a new park, who printed his name in the world of science in gold letters by winning the Nobel Chemistry Award in 2015, who has the titles of academician, biochemist, molecular biologists and scientist.

The park to be built in the Hilal Neighbourhood will be a new living space for the people of the region with an area of 2 thousand 392 square meters. The inauguration of the park will be held in September.
